Report launch on ‘Public Private Partnership Model for Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC): An analysis of Opportunities and Challenges’

Friedrich Naumann Foundation for freedom Sri Lanka (FNF) and JAAR Corporate Solutions launched a report on ‘Public Private Partnership Model for CPC: An analysis of Opportunities and Challenges today at a special event held in Colombo.

This report stresses the importance of public-private partnership (PPP) in the energy sector in Sri Lanka. The report highlights the main factors that have contributed to the losses at CPC, proposals for suitable PPP models for potential investors and policy recommendations for the Sri Lankan Government.

Löning Signs Corporation Agreement with JAAR in Sri Lanka

To strengthen the presence of Löning in Sri Lanka, a cooperation agreement has been signed between Löning and JAAR. In cooperation with Löning, JAAR – a management consultancy specialized on sustainability, corporate finance, business economics, regulatory services – will support Sri Lankan exporters with regards to corporate due diligence in human rights enabling exporters to comply with sustainability standards and legislations such as the German Act on Sustainable Supply Chains.
